Roma children and refugee children, who are members of\u00a0 School Parliaments are active DX club members – the opinions of these marginalised groups of children are always included in workshops before specific meetings of children from the DX club with representatives from different institutions.<\/p>\n
By including children form School Parliaments in its activities, we enable children from different minority groups to reach the DX club and its activities. We have three local schools in our projects and we have an agreement with schools to include specific groups of children for School Parliaments by taking into account gender, disabilities, origin. This improves visibility and participation of different target groups in decision making within School Parliaments, and enables us to reach those children as participants in our activities.<\/p>\n

What changes did you achieve?<\/h3>\r\nChild Rights Centre makes children's opinions heard and respected - for example more than 400 children participated in the preparation of the report for the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.\r\n\r\nThe Child Rights Centre has contributed to the improvement of the child protection system in Serbia through the following activities and initiatives:\r\n
